Professional
I have been a practicing therapist for eleven years, which has included working in agencies treating individuals, couples, small children and their families. I have worked in an adolescent day treatment program treating severely emotionally disturbed teenagers and in a public school setting as an on site counselor. In all of my clinical work I have had the pleasure of working with clients of varied cultural and economic backgrounds. I practice therapy in Santa Rosa CA and I frequently see clients from Penngrove, Cotati, Sebastopol and other cities in Sonoma County. Some areas of expertise include Emotionally Focused Couples and Family Therapy, parenting issues, and conflict resolution. I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.

Education
I hold a masters degree in Counseling Psychology, with a Transpersonal Specialization, from John F. Kennedy University in California.

Major Coursework included: Diagnosis; Assessment and Therapeutic Strategy; Existential Psychotherapy; Individual Development and the Family Life Cycle; Cross-cultural Issues in Counseling; Marriage and Family Counseling; Child and Adolescent Therapy; and Sexuality.

As a licensee of the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, License No. MFC 41816, I agree to abide by its code of ethics. In order to better help my clients, I participate in annual continuing education, taking classes, workshops and trainings dealing with subjects relevant to my profession. In my practice I see clients from many Sonoma County Communities, including: Windsor, Calistoga, St. Helena, Rohnert Park and Petaluma.
